Cost Reduction Strategies and Performance of Commercial Banks in Kenya

Purpose: The purpose of the study was to establish influence cost reduction strategies on performance commercial banks.
 Methodology: used census approach and targeted all 41 banks in Kenya. This is because population small. Senior finance operations managers working headquarters were targeted. therefore a total 82 respondents. research adopted cross-sectional survey. both primary secondary data. Primary data collected using questionnaires while Secondary information acquired from banks' audited financial statements.
 Findings: Both regression results showed that had positive significant effect banks. From findings, concluded Kenya.
 Recommendation: recommended bank management should measures reduce overhead costs as well operational so they can boost their performance.
